Congratulations to Harry Van der Kloot (Been Lab ’16)! Harry was accepted to to the Louis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Well done, Harry!

Three Haverford Professors (Laura Been, Becky Compton, Mary Ellen Kelly) and six Haverford Students (Anya Bernhard, Keri Cronin, Will Foster, Liz Heaton, Stephanie Histon, Danielle Rett) attended the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting in Washington D.C.  There, they presented posters, attended talks, and networked with 30,000 other neuroscientists from around the world.

Liz Heaton and Will Foster presented a poster, “Increased oxytocin immunoreactivity in the paraventricular nucleus, but not the supraoptic nucleus, following a hormone-simulated pregnancy in female Syrian hamsters” at the KINSC Summer Research Symposium.  Well done, Liz and Will!

The construction on Sharpless Hall (home of the Been Lab) is finally complete! We are excited to move back into our brand new, state-of-the-art lab space!!
